Midsummer Paths

In 113B we make two painting based off of A Midsummer Nights' Dream. The first takes place during the day...

...and the second takes place at night. The second one must also incorporate a magical element, whether literally or in spirit. Mine is pretty literal.

114 Sack Pantomime

In 114 we do a pantomime animation using a flour sack as the main character. The goal is to have the flour sack character interact with an object and show a change of emotion. No real restriction other than that...

Day Time

Pencil rendering for the daytime scene of my forest. Working on color comps now - can't wait to get paining!

Midterm Reel, whynot?

So far in 114....
Put the sack drop in twice cuz I'm pretty happy with it.

What's this?

What? I never uploaded the Questing Beast?
This was my final project for my Myth in Literature class. The Questing Beast is from Arthurian legend. Most of the illustrations I saw were pretty similar, so I tries to give it a different look. My planning (below) shows the different animals that it's said to be made of.

Oh, yeah, I do that too.

What are these moving images?! My work from 51, the intro class to 3D animation. It was fun, especially at the end, but I think I'm an illustrator, not an animator.

StrangeCrow

A design for the Steampunk outfits Heather and I are making; it's supposed to be like a clan insignia. We're doing an Irish/Scottish theme that I like to call "Steam Tinker". :)

Winter's Progress

Just some painting practice I did over winter. Acrylic on Watercolor paper. We're working in gouache in class right now, so maybe I'll upload some of that in a week or two.

By The Sea

My final project for a class last semester. It was inspired by Max Klinger's "The Glove" series, but generally became a Iphegenia-figure.

Homework?

I snuck into the Digital Arts class at my old high school, and liked the homework assignment so much I decided to go ahead and do it. Basically we just had to do something with an eye. :)
